ISERH TEAM SENSITIZES STUDENTS ON ASPIRING THE BEST COMPETITION (ABC)

In spite of the overwhelming media publicity given to the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), the ISERH Management Team still deems it necessary to reach out to the students that might have no access to media, for the main purpose of giving them a fair playing ground to winning our scholarship.

The Program Director of ISERH – Mr. Mutiu Abimbola Aderanti, alongside ABC Project Director – Mr. Isiaq ‘Kunle Isiaq, and the Overall Highest Scorer of the 2016 ABC – ISERH Ambassador Ridiwan Omidiran visited various schools in 3 Local Government Areas of Osun State within 7 days. The managements of all the schools visited were enthusiasm to welcome them into their schools, and as well showed their supports for the project.

Among the schools visited are: Ogedengbe High School, Ilesa; First Class High School, Ilesa; Trailblazer Group of Schools, Ilesa; Al-Ikhlas Islamic School, Ilesa; Reality High School, Ilesa; Deen-Ul-Haq School, Ilesa; United Anglican Methodist High School, Ilesa; St. Margaret’s High School, Ilesa; Government Muslim Comprehensive High School, Ilesa; St. John’s Comprehensive High School, Ilesa; Muslim High School, Ilesa; Osowusi High School, Iloko Ijesha; Iloko Model High School, Iloko Ijesha etc.

Close to 5 High Schools have made this competition mandatory on their students. Their reasons are not far from the fact that the competition prepares them ahead of facing and conquering their SSCE/UTME; it gives them the opportunity to know the subjects they must improve on – before facing SSCE/UTME; it boosts their confidence and improve their sense of success; it gives them the opportunity of enjoying the scholarship of ISERH; and it gives the beneficiaries the opportunity on being trained for the 21st century leadership skills.

As ISERH Management Team continues school visitations, under the auspices of her annual program ‘ENRICHING THE UNREACHED’, it is important to acquaint the public with the fact that this competition’s (ABC) application shall come to an end on Sunday 3rd September, 2017 by 11:59pm.
