ISERH OPENS ABC ONLINE REGISTRATION PORTAL FOR HER 2017/2018 SSCE/UTME SCHOLARSHIP

The Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) opens the online registration portal (www.abcexam.iserh.org) for her annual competition, Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), through which students who score 75% and above in the competition win the scholarship to write Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WAEC, NECO, GCE,) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) for free. It is also a gateway for students to become an ABC SCHOLAR and ISERH AMBASSADOR.

The registration for the 2017/2018 ABC, which marks the 5th Edition of the competition, commences on Monday, 17 April, 2017 and it is opened to students in SS 1 to SS3 Classes and O’Level Leavers who are yet to make their results. The cut-off mark to benefitting this competition’s scholarship is an Aggregate Score of 75%. For every candidate who scores 50% and above is entitled to varying degrees ofPrizes which are stated on the competition’s registration portal (www.abcexam.iserh.org).

Any teacher whose student indicates as his/her mentor during the registration process shall be honoured with ISERH EXCELLENT TEACHER AWARD (ETA) if such student wins the competition by scoring 75%. Any teacher who has the Hightest Number of Mentored Winners shall be crowned as ISERH TEACHER OF THE YEAR at the ISERH ANNUAL RECOGNITION AWARD that always comes up every FIRST SATURDAYof JANUARIES. Through this competition, Best Student in each in subject shall be honoured alongside the Overall Highest Scorer of the competition.

The easy way to pass this competition is for students to study past questions on their choiced subjects. Each candidate is expected to writeMathematics, English Language and any other 2 Subjects of his choice. This competition is a day UTME-like examination that comes up lastSaturdays of October. The competition’s questions papers consist of only multiple choice (objective) questions.

Through this competition, over 80 Students have written SSCE/UTME for free via the scholarship awarded to them by ISERH, having scored75% and above in the competition. About 40 of them, called ISERH Ambassadors, are now in various Higher Institutions of Learning studying different courses. Over 450 participants have benefitted and won various degrees of Consolation Prizes, while more than 17 Teachershave been honoured with ISERH Excellent Teacher Award (ETA) and Mr. Akanmu Olawale emerged the first ISERH Teacher of the Year in the year 2017.
