10 ABC Scholars/ISERH Ambassadors Matriculated At Obafemi Awolowo University

From ISERH, we sincerely and heartily congratulate 10 of our ABC Scholars/ISERH Ambassadors that were matriculated into different departments of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria yesterday Thursday, 1st September, 2016.

As everyone who never had the opportunity of witnessing the eclipse of the sun and the moon was eager for Thursday, September 1, 2016 to come, so were the 10 ABC Scholars/ISERH Ambassadors and the entire Board and Management of the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) to see the first set of Mass Matriculation of their Ambassadors into the prestigious and African Most Beautiful Campus, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

As part of our efforts towards MDGs/SDGs Goals, ISERH introduced Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) for the purpose of sponsoring the SSCE/UTME of every participant that meets up with our cut-off mark of 75%. This program kicked-start in 2014 and we have held 3 consecutive editions of it while this year’s edition (2016/2017) comes up October 29, 2016. The winners of this competition, who also benefit the sponsorship of their SSCE/UTME by this organization, are called ABC SCHOLARS. These ABC SCHOLARS become ISERH AMBASSADORS the moment they pass the ORAL INTERVIEW conducted by ISERH’s Interview Team. Being an ABC Scholar and/or ISERH Ambassador, one is expected to undergo a compulsory 1 year Mentoring Class through monthly ABC SCHOLARS’/ISERH AMBASSADORS’ FORUM Meeting. There are rules and regulations guiding the Social and Educational Life of every ABC Scholar/ISERH Ambassador and that is why they are making giant strides in their various endeavours. We now have 30 of our 54 ABC Scholars/ISERH Ambassadors in different Higher Institutions across Nigeria.

Let us take you through short profile of each of these 10 newly matriculated ISERH Ambassadors:

IA. OLUWAFEMI SAYO SAMUEL was born on the 31st of October, 1992. He completed his secondary education at Ilesa Grammar School, Ilesa in 2012. He sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) with his younger brother, who is also an ISERH Ambassador, in 2014 but failed while his younger brother passed. He came back to write the 2015/2016 Edition of the competition and he emerged the Overall Highest Scorer in the competition with a score of 83%. This organization paid for his UTME and today, he is a student of MANAGEMENT & ACCOUNTING, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. FASUNLE KEHINDE H. was born on the 13th of April, 1997. He completed his secondary education at Epitome Academy, Ode Omu in 2014. He was among the first set of students to sit for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) in March, 2014 and emerged the Overall Highest Scorer with a score of 87%. This organization paid for his WAEC and today, he is a student of BIOCHEMISTRY, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. ABIODUN KUDIRAT ADEOLA was born on the 26th of Oct., 1997. She completed her secondary education at Ultimate Grammar School, Ilesa in 2014. She was among the first set of students to sit for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) in March, 2014 and had a score of 80%. This organization paid for her NECO. She emerged the ND 1 Best Student (2015) of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Federal Polytechnic Ede. Today, she is a student of MICROBIOLOGY, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and also NUTRITION AND DIETETICS (NDII), Federal Polytechnic Ede, Nigeria.

IA. FAKOREDE OLUWALEKE was born on the 30th of September, 1999. He completed his secondary education at Bibo Oluwa Academy, Ilesa in 2015. He emerged the 2nd Highest Scorer (87%) when he sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2014/2015 Edition. This organization paid for his UTME. He won Cowbell Mathematics Competition in the year 2015. Today, he is a student of COMPUTER SCIENCE, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. OKOLI DAMILOLA CHRISTIANAH was born on the 7th of January, 2000. She completed her secondary education at Reality High School, Ilesa in 2015. She was among the first set of students to sit for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) in March, 2014 while she was in SS2 and had a score of 78%. This organization paid for her WAEC. Today, she is a student of INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. IBRAHIM RILIWAN ADEWALE was born on the 19th of March, 1998. He completed his secondary education at Ogedengbe School of Science, Ilesa in 2015. He emerged the 3rd Highest Scorer (80%) when he sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2015/2016 Edition. This organization paid for his UTME. He won the 1000 Change Agent’s scholarship. Today, he is a student of SURVEYING & GEO-INFORMATICS, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. AJAYI OLUWAFUNMILAYO OLUWADETIMI was born on the 9th of June, 2000. She completed her secondary education at Bibo Oluwa Academy, Ilesa in 2015. She emerged the 3rd Highest Scorer (85.5%) when she sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2014/2015 Edition. This organization paid for her WAEC. Today, she is a student of BOTANY, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. TENIOLA MICHAEL was born on the 9th of January, 1997. He completed his secondary education at Ilesa High School, Ilesa in 2015. He sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2015/2016 Edition and scored 75%. This organization paid for his UTME. Today, he is a student of QUANTITY SURVEYING, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. AYODEJI OLUWAJOMILOJU was born on the 25th September, 1998. She completed her secondary education at Bibo Oluwa Academy, Ilesa in 2015. She participated in the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2014/2015 Edition and had a score of 84.5%. This organization paid for her WAEC. Today, she is a student of NURSING, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

IA. OLUFEMI TIMILEHIN DANIEL was born in 1995. He completed his secondary education at Ogedengbe School of Science, Ilesa in 2013. He sat for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) 2014/2015 Edition and scored 75%. This organization paid for his UTME. Today, he is a student of MEDICAL REHABILITATION, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

As we appreciate God Almighty for the lives of these young ISERH AMBASSADORS and the rest of them in their various homes and schools, we as well appreciate the efforts of our Executive Director, Mr. Abdulahi Abayomi Abdulraheem, for making it to the Matriculation Ceremony yesterday Sept. 1st, 2016, despite his tight schedule and volume of responsibilities. We as well appreciate IA Akindele Peter Oluwole, a student of PHILOSOPHY, POLITICS & ECONOMICS (300L),  (Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria), who was on ground to welcome the Executive Director and the newly admitted ISERH Ambassadors into the school. Peter was among the first set of students to participate in the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) held in March, 2014 and got admitted into OAU in 2015. We as well appreciate IA Abdulwahab Nafisat, the 2nd Highest Scorer of the Aspiring the Best Competition (2015/2016 Edition) and a prospective student of the University of Ilorin, who accompanied the Executive Director to the event.

     IA. AKINDELE PETER OLUWOLE completed his secondary education at Ilesa Grammar School, Ilesa in 2013. He was among the first set of students to sit for the Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) in March, 2014. This organization paid for his WAEC NOV/DEC and today, he is a 300 LEVEL Student of PHILOSOPHY, POLITICS & ECONOMIC, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
