Npower: ISERH Registered Over 300 Unemployed Youths For Free

In achieving the Goals 1, 2 and 8 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) assisted both the Federal Government of Nigeria and some Unemployed Youth towards getting registered for the Federal Government Employment Initiative titled N-Power. Over 300 Unemployed Graduates and Non-Graduates in Osun and other states were registered for the program for free by this organization. Many were thoroughly enlightened about the program and the section to apply for. Majority who never had Email and/or CV were helped to open and develop one. We embarked on this after our studies showed that majority of those who had applied, prior to our starting free application, did so many mistake. In order to assist those who never knew how to apply and those who were reluctant to apply, we embarked on mass enlightenment and subsequently registered the concerned unemployed youths.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has designed N-Power Programme to drastically reduce youth unemployment. The focus is to provide our young graduates and non-graduates with the skills, tools and livelihood to enable them advance from unemployment to employment, entrepreneurship and innovation. According to the Federal Government of Nigeria, the first phase of N-Power will target Nigeria’s critical needs in education, agriculture, technology, creative, construction and artisanal industries. N-Power is also preparing Nigeria for a global outsourcing push where our young Nigerians can export their services to work on global projects that earn Nigeria, foreign exchange.

This programme targets two major categories of people: Unemployed Graduates and Non-graduates. Hence, the programme is divided into two broad categories: the one that only Graduates can apply for and the other that both Graduates and Non-Graduates can apply for.
